Dokuz Eylül University is a state university established in 1982 in Izmir, the third biggest city of Turkey. Regarding its experience of more than 30 years in higher education, the university has the advantage of acting at the center of a regional network of universities in the Aegean region. It is the largest university in the Aegean Region regarding the number of students, academic and administrative staff.

SUSCOF Project Team from Dokuz Eylul University consists of six academics from Izmir Vocational School and Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.

Zeki Atıl Bulut is Associate Professor of Marketing at Dokuz Eylul University where he is the vice director of Izmir Vocational School and Director of Marketing Programme. He teaches courses in the field of consumer behavior, mostly with regard to sustainable consumption behavior. In particular, he has done much research on developing a sustainable consumption behavior scale, consumer comparisons in consumption and quality of life. Also, his research interest covers marketing research and digital marketing. He has published more than 30 academic papers in conferences, books, and several international SSCI and international refereed journals, including International Journal of Consumer Studies, British Food Journal, Computers in Human Behavior, Journal of Consumer Behavior, International Journal of Online Marketing, Journal of Consumer and Consumption Research, Business and Economic Research Journal, and the International Journal of Management, Economics and Business. He is an editorial board member of the Journal of Marketing Analytics, Business and Management Studies, and International Journal of Contemporary Research on Management, Economics, and Business. He was awarded by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey in 2009 with National Scholarship Programme for Ph.D. Students. He is a reviewer for several SSCI indexed journals and a member of the Association of Marketing and Marketing Research and the Association of Marketing Professionals. He is the coordinator of the project.

Onur Doğan is an Associate Professor of Management Information Systems and has a background in mathematics and particularly researches on management information science. In recent years, he interested in digitalizing, social media behavior, sustainable consumption behavior and he has published many academic papers in conferences, books, and several international SSCI and international refereed journals about these subjects. He will bring his research experiences about related subjects into the project.

Feyza Tekinbaş Özkaya has been working as a senior lecturer in DEU İzmir Vocational School for eight years. She has double B.Sc. degrees in Business Administration and Economics. She holds an M.Sc. degree in International Business Management. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. degree in marketing. Feyza has been teaching various undergraduate courses like Agricultural Marketing, Agricultural Economics and Business, Agricultural Cooperatives, and International Trade on Agriculture. She also delivers professional development courses for government bodies (municipalities, Turkish Employment Agency, General Directorate of Prisons and Detention Houses) and private companies. Besides she acts as the coordinator and she is responsible for the preparation of curriculum, oversight, and certification of all entrepreneurship courses delivered in DEU Izmir Vocational School. Her research interests are consumer behavior, consumer perception of brands, children’s attitudes, and behavior towards marketing practices.

Gülşah Atağan is Associate Professor of Accounting at Dokuz Eylul University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. Her field of interest is financial accounting, cost accounting International Financial Reporting Standards, and sustainability reporting. She is the instructor of the course “Cost Accounting” at the Chamber of Certified Public Accountants of Izmir. She takes a role about establish Consumer Research Centre and cost management of the center.

Elif Yücebaş is a senior lecturer in local administration programme. She has background in public administration and particularly researches social entrepreneurship. In recent years, she interested in digitalizing the governmental applications, strategies to alleviate unemployment, and youth education.

Hakan Aşan, holds a doctoral degree in Management Information Systems and has been working as a research assistant at Dokuz Eylül University since 2014. During the project, he is working on mobile application development, social media, and digitalization of project outputs.
