This report presents an analysis of the currentsituation regarding sustainable food habits, primarily in partner countries,and compares with the need for sustainable consumption of food as expressedi.a. in the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. We distinguishbetween the situation in countries with an existing long track record ofinfluencing consumer behavior (Austria, Denmark, Sweden) and those morerecently engaged (Slovakia, Turkey).

Based on the needs analysis, four fundamental recommendations have been made with analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data collected from adult consumers and experts in the field. These recommendations were prepared to provide the basis for the discussions and to provide the basis for educational content to help adults develop their skills and behaviors to make food consumption more sustainable.
